A CSA work share is an exchange of a weekly CSA box for weekly work put on our farm. For 4 hours of work per week, you can take home a bountiful weekly CSA box from our farm. We are looking for someone local who is eager to participate on the farm, who is physically able and who can be a positive part of a family friendly environment.

 

Requirements

• Must be physically fit and able to bend down, squat and put in 4 hours of work in summer/fall weather

• Must be able to commit to all weeks of the season (beginning of May - end of October) for the same time slot each week (we do allow 1-2 weeks off during the season for vacation or emergencies)

• Must have a reliable vehicle

• We cannot accomodate kids or dogs on the farm during your workshare shift

Available shifts

• Tuesdays 8am-12pm

• Thursdays 8am-12pm

• Fridays 7am-11am

 

Types of work you may be expected to do:

• Harvesting crops 

• Weeding or cultivating

• Transplanting crops

• Weighing and packaging crops
